      Optional Feature: KEYper Integration

      The KEYper Integration displays live key status in both Inventory and Delivery Hub, reducing back-and-forth and improving visibility. It requires SaaS Tier 2 and a dedicated API user account to activate.

      The KEYper Integration enhances Inventory Hub and Delivery Hub by giving your team real-time access to key status — helping reduce time wasted walking to key machines just to check availability.

      This optional feature keeps key data visible where you already work, so Sales, Service, and Inventory teams can stay in sync.

      What the Integration Does

      Once integrated, key status is displayed directly within the Inventory Profile in both Inventory Hub and Delivery Hub, allowing staff to:

      • Quickly verify if a key is in or out

      • Avoid unnecessary trips to the key machine

      • Improve coordination between departments

      Requirements


      To use the KEYper Integration, your dealership must:


        • Be on SaaS Tier 2 with KEYper
          → If you're not on Tier 2, this can be added — contact your KEYper rep.

        • Provide a dedicated user account so Dealer by Design can access KEYper APIs

      How to Enable

      To activate the integration:

      1. Confirm your dealership is on SaaS Tier 2

      2. Contact support@dealerbydesign.ca to request setup

      3. Create and provide a KEYper user account for API access, for DBD

      Once configured, your team will see key status right where they need it — saving time and improving workflow.
