How to Reject Customer Insurance Details

This article will walk you through the steps for a dealership user to reject customer insurance details.

Overview

  • The Customer Portal allows customers to provide their insurance details online prior to vehicle delivery.
  • Once insurance details are submitted by the customer, the dealership team is notified to confirm insurance details.

Steps to Reject Customer Insurance Details

  • Open the delivery card.
  • Confirm the insurance status is currently "Submitted".
  • Review the customer's insurance details in the "Delivery/Insurance" section.
  • Once insurance details review is complete and rejection is confirmed:
    • Confirm the "Insurance Confirmation" dynamic task checkbox remains unchecked.
    • Add a new note describing the reason for insurance details rejection.
  • Click the "Save" button:
    • New note is logged in the delivery history.
    • Insurance status remains "Submitted".

Steps to Reject Previously Approved Customer Insurance Details

  • Open the delivery card.
  • Confirm the insurance status is currently "Approved".
  • Review the customer's insurance details in the "Delivery/Insurance" section.
  • Once insurance details review is complete and rejection is confirmed:
    • Uncheck the "Insurance Confirmation" dynamic task checkbox.
    • Add a new note describing the reason for insurance details rejection.
  • Click the "Save" button:
    • Task uncomplete is logged in the delivery history.
    • New note is logged in the delivery history.
    • "Approved" insurance status is replaced with "Submitted" status.
